Must Love Dogs – Dog-Friendly Fun in Downtown Reno

Your pooch is your pal, your best buddy, your family! Hey, we get it. Actually, here at West Street Market in downtown Reno, we don’t just get it – we love it! Our beautiful outdoor patio space welcomes you and your dog, and it’s one of a few great downtown places you have to check out with your four-legged friend.

Fido-Friendly Spots in Downtown Reno

• In early July, the Biggest Little Dog Park completed phase one of its master plan and opened its doggy-door in downtown Reno. The park is on Commercial Row between Sierra and West streets and features divided areas for small and big dogs, seating, fountains and more amenities to come.
• With their river views and walkways, the Riverwalk District and Wingfield Park are a great place to stretch those legs. In Wingfield, you can both wade into the river to cool off and grab a quick drink (your dog, that is. We don’t recommend quenching your thirst in the river – come to West Street Market for that).
• Between our amazing vendors and seasonal events like the current Summer Daze, there’s always something happening at West Street Market. Don’t leave Fido home alone – bring him along and hang out on the patio, where you can eat, chat, and enjoy. We have plenty of seating and big ol’ umbrellas for shade. Dog bowls still to come, but stay tuned.
