Guess Who’s Coming to West Street Market?!

If you’ve ever hung out at West Street Market and thought to yourself, you know, this place is awesome, but it would be even better with a coffee shop, then we have huge news. The one and only Bibo Coffee Company is officially moving in! And yep, they’re bringing their killer beans and gelato with them.

Bibo, Baby

The Reno staple has been slinging espresso since 2003, and the company started roasting its own beans a few years ago. In addition to truly creative espresso specials and the hands-down best dirty chai in town, Bibo is also known for its serious artisan gelato and sorbetto. Flavors range from the traditional to the slightly edgy – coconut lime and jalapeño, anyone? Coffee/gelato lovers know all about Bibo’s four locations already – in downtown Reno, Midtown, by the university, and down south – and West Street Market will be a perfect addition.

Fitting Right In

As co-owners of this local small biz, Deb Spieker-Martin and Paul Martin have long embraced Reno and the local foods movement. The company’s dairy for that tasty gelato comes from none other than Fallon’s Sand Hill Dairy, and Deb and Paul are big supporters of their fellow small businesses. Plus, they’re proud to offer exceptional vegan options with their sorbettos and alternative milk options like hemp, almond, cashew, and others. Really, they’re going to fit right in around here!

So When Can You Start Sipping?

Bibo will be taking over the back space last occupied by IceCycle Creamery, and the plan is to offer 18 flavors of gelato, pour over coffee, and a cold brew bar. And we cannot wait. The lines will start in early May, so stay tuned to social media for the official opening day. Bibo! At West Street Market! This is really happening!
